Accenture and ServiceNow have teamed up to launch a global business unit dedicated to digital transformation projects. The unit will consist of 8,500 Accenture people who have skills in ServiceNow and will specialize in boosting customers’ workflow and platform development, marketing, sales, and business development.
Known as the Accenture ServiceNow Business Group, the unit will particularly focus on helping customers create more self-service and remote work programs.

Accenture is currently a ServiceNow Global Elite Partner and has already led a number of major ServiceNow projects.

The Accenture ServiceNow Business Group will deliver industry- and domain-specific solutions and services to customers in telecommunications, financial services, government, manufacturing, healthcare, and life sciences. Workflow innovation will focus on employee engagement, customer service and operations, artificial intelligence for IT operations, and security and risk. Additional industry solutions will be developed in the future.
The development comes as the digital workflow software vendor rolls out its new ‘ServiceNow Partner Industry Solutions’ marketplace. Accenture, among others, was one of the inaugural partners to join the new platform. Recently, this month, global people development firm Cornerstone OnDemand announced that it has integrated with ServiceNow, allowing users to access CSOD learning tools via ServiceNow with immediate effect. The partnerships validate the growing importance of digital transformation globally, which has been catalyzed by the pandemic.
